After a hectic 11 weeks of passionate fundraising campaigns, fierce competition and hard work, only 11 girls would be chosen to form the highly-anticipated Produce 101 Season 2 girl group.
The original 101 hopefuls included many familiar faces: Kim Chaewon, Kim Hyunjin, Jeong Eunbi, Kwon Eunbi, and Choi Yoojung, among others. Their goal was to increase their popularity through performing on high-profile varieties shows, perfecting their dancing skills, learning to collaborate with others, and competing in multiplatform voting.
After 11 weeks, the final lineup for Produce 101 Season 2 was decided. Among the 11 chosen girls were Kim Chaewon, Kwon Eunbi, Park Seobin, Kim Minju, Kim Shihyun, Lee Chaeryeong, Lee Sian, Lee Si An, Jenny, Kang Hyewon, and Ryujin.
