剧情介绍
Is It Cake? Have you ever had something that seemed like cake, but you just couldn't tell if it actually was cake? Many of us have. Whether it was a treat offered to us by a friend, something we found at a bakery, or something we bought at a grocery store, we've all had moments of uncertainty. It's easy to understand why we would question the cake part of the equation. When you go to a bakery or a grocery store, what you think of as traditional cakes usually have thick frostings, usually layers, and are typically decorated with lots of decorations. When something looks different from that, it's hard to tell if it's truly a cake. So what makes something a cake? Generally, cake is a sweet dish made out of flour, baking powder, eggs, milk, and sugar. Usually the result is a light, fluffy, and moist cake. Generally cakes also include flavorings of some sort, such as vanilla extract or other essential oils, and sometimes spices and nuts are added. When trying to decide what is and isn't a cake, you should look at the texture, size, ingredients, and overall look of the food. If the product looks different from a traditional cake, it may not be a cake. If it looks like a cake, but doesn't have any of the required ingredients, it’s not a cake. If your food looks like a cake, smells like a cake, looks like a cake, and tastes like a cake, then chances are it is a cake! However, if the product doesn't meet all of these criteria, you may still be able to enjoy the product, whatever it may be, and just know that it isn’t a cake. At the end of the day, it's really up to you to decide for yourself if something meets your definition of cake or not. So next time you have something delicious that looks like a cake, but you can't tell if it truly is a cake, take a minute to consider all the criteria and make sure it meets all of them before you decide if it is a cake or not. Chances are if it tastes really yummy, whatever it may be, it’s a winner.
